The Standard
OCIA Spark Ltd strives to be Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG) AA compliant. WCAG is an open standard for determining accessibility. AA compliance is considered good support for a website geared towards a global audience.
Steps Taken
Each page of the site has been tested with AXE automatic accessibility testing tools provided by Deque in both light and dark mode.
Each page has been analysed with Chrome’s Lighthouse accessibility testing tool in both light and dark mode and the results have been used to improve the site with the goal of getting as close to 100 as possible on each pages accessibility score.
The site has been tested with the following browsers: Chrome, Firefox
Web standards have been utilised to ensure the site is accessible to as many users as possible. These include:
- Keyboard navigation
- Semantic HTML
- ARIA attributes
- Responsive design
- Color contrast
